More than 50 young people from ‘Good News Church’ in Phnom Penh came down to Kep on this Mother of the King’s birthday. Fun of the beach, swimming in the sea, nice meal together and time of worship. After a few songs I gave a short message based on the book ‘Leave the Shore’ . The place was ideal to bring the story of Jesus calling Peter to leave the shore and get into the deep end to cast his nets. May those who responded to the call today join the increasing number of Cambodian believers who are moving into those remote areas on the country, the ‘deep end’, to bring the Gospel to the least, the lost and the last.
For some time now I’ve been wanting to have a dog. My friend Asher and his family could not keep their dog in their apartment in Phnom Penh. Without even asking, they gave me the best dog I could have. As soon as Rusty arrived at my place in Kep, you would think she had finally found her home. She is obedient, quiet and most loving.
